Mark Nottingham - Billy No Mates?

A minion passed me a copy of this week’s Isle of Thanet Gazette. He pointed out some breathtakingly good bullshit being passed off as a member of the public writing in to support his Councillor.

It looks like Mark Nottingham writing yet another “conspiracy theory” rant about how unfair life has been to him, especially as he is folically challenged.!

The hysterical thing is that he has signed it as his own Brother in law, Heath Woodward of Margate – Again!

How sad is that? He can’t get a mate or even a constituent to write in on his behalf. Especially ironic as he would have you believe he has been a tireless champion of the people in his ward.

My spies tell me he’s rarely been seen in Northwood, except when a Gazette photographer turns up! Then its quick photo and he buggers off to his mansion in Ramsgate for a bath in asses milk!

I’ve also been told he has been trying to change his name by deed poll to Des.

Why you may ask? Well dear mortals the answer is simple. Mark Nottingham was de-selected. When his name is changed, he will say it was all a typo and he is still the undisputed candidate for Northwood because the headline now reads:

“DES ELECTED!”

And that's not all for he has anonymously been popping up in support of himself on his own and sundry other blog sites to create the impression of mass support.

I thought I was the only cynical, dead bastard who thought that!

Rumour has it, he's been dressing up as a little old lady and telling people how that nice Councillor Nottingham helps 'her' across the road.

How cruel you are to our organic gardening cyclist. Here is a man who cycles to down market Margate pubs so he can drink real ale with down to earth Labour voters and all you do is extract the urine.

Mind you, the leader, complete with hair piece, crouches in the middle of some waste land to herald his conservation claims in the local rag.

I think they call it electioneering. Time to harvest them I think Reaper.

My spies tell me, in the clifftop mansion, that Mark's boss, Mary Honeyball MEP, refused to get involved in the issue about a 1990 European Parliament Resolution calling on member states to dismantle unauthorized military organisations. Maybe because she thought it might involve reporting Tony Blair and Jack Straw to the European Parliament to generate a resolution of concern to Council of Ministers.

Whilst she sat on the issue for two months before refusing to act it appears that Michael Cashman MEP needed just one week to research and respond on the nature of the resolution and whether UK is bound to comply.

Surely Mark and his boss are the Labour politicians of integrity who would never cowtow to leaders who bend law and process for their own ends ?? And now still use what were unauthorized military organisations (Until Straw repealed the law which had rather inconveniently made them unlawful) in places like Iraq ?

Unlawful and Iraq ?

Doesn't that involve the bogus case made for WMD that involves Thor Chemicals of Margate ?

Thor who contaminated aquifer ?

(Bear with it GR)

The aquifer contamination featuring the nearest direct abstraction where ?

Northwood ward.

Where the diligent Labour councillor hastened to contact Environment Agency, Kent Health Protection Agency and HSE to check out whether direct abstraction was/is a health hazard specifically worse in that ward ?

Mark, Mark ! What are you saying ?

Louder mate.

Oh you didn't think it was politically advantageous to involve on behalf of the health of the people of your ward.

And you are on sick leave from Thanet labour suffering from hypocrisy ?
